Vision & Mission
Mission Statement
To foster reconciliation, healing, and unity within the Body of Christ by equipping pastors, ministry leaders, and believers to work together in love and truth through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Vision Statement
To see God’s people united as one family-bridging denominational, cultural, and generational divides so that the Church can shine as salt and light to the world and advance the Kingdom of God together.
Historical Background
The ministry began in March 2000 as the African Ministers’ Alliance (AMA) in Stafford, Texas, bringing together African pastors and their spouses for prayer and encouragement in ministry.
May 2001, while praying about the organization, Dr. Samuel Amaku had an encounter with the Lord in which the Lord Jesus handed him a cross approximately seven feet tall and said, “Unite My people as unto Moses.” This symbolized a call to bring believers together in every area of life—spiritual, physical, social, and emotional—just as Moses led God’s people into wholeness. The vision was later confirmed through multiple prophetic witnesses, affirming God’s call to unite His people and lift up Jesus so that all may be drawn to Him.
After the divine vision of the cross, the group changed the name to the Network of African Descendant Ministers International (NADMI). However, through continued prayer and revelation, God broadened the focus beyond African descent to include all believers as His people (Ephesians 1:4–6). Hence the new name, Reconciliation Unity Network (RUN), formally registered on March 16, 2023, in Houston, Texas.
